Different permutations and combinations of these elements form our physiology too. These unique compositions are known as the doshas- Vata (Air + Space), Pitta (Fire + Water) and Kapha (Water + Earth) that play a pivotal role in the overall health and nature of our entire being. As per Ayurveda, any disease arises due to an imbalance in the natural combination of any one or all three doshas.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr Rajat Sharma, a renowned consultant, and doctor at Maharishi Ayurveda Hospital and Ayurvedic Center for Chronic Diseases will guide us in preparing winter kadha that is suitable for Vata, Pitta, and Kapha dominant physiologies, respectively and keep one healthy as well as immune to season change in winters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kadha for Kapha&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Select good quality Ginger, cloves, pepper, cardamom, turmeric, and saffron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ginger- 1 inch &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raw turmeric- 1 inch<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tulsi- 8-10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mulethi- 4-5 sticks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cinnamon- 4-5 sticks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Black pepper- 10-12<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cloves- 10-12<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water- 8-10 cups<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><br><strong>Step 1.<\/strong>&nbsp;Pour the water into a saucepan and put all the ingredients in it.<br><strong>Step 2.&nbsp;<\/strong>Boil it for at least 1 hour on a medium to high flame.<br><strong>Step 3.<\/strong>&nbsp;Switch off the flame and cool it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kadha for Vata<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients: &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Licorice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ginger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cardamom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cinnamon&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a bit of Tulasi (Basil)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><br><strong>Step 1.<\/strong>&nbsp;Pour the water in a saucepan and put all the ingredients in it.<br><strong>Step 2.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Boil it for at least 1 hour on low to medium flame for 40 minutes<br><strong>Step 3.<\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;Switch off the flame and cool it down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Kadha for Pitta&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cardamom<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Licorice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ginger<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cinnamon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tulsi (as per preference)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rose (as per preference)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Water<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Method:<\/strong><br><strong>Step 1.&nbsp;<\/strong>Boil Cardamom, licorice, ginger, and cinnamon in the water on low flame for 30 minutes.&nbsp;<br><strong>Step 2.<\/strong>You can also add 2-3 Tulasi leaves along with 2-3 Rose petals.<br><strong>Step 3.<\/strong>&nbsp;Switch off the flame and let it cool down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>So, no more getting stressed and bogged down with dynamic season because whatever is your Prakriti, Kadha will strengthen your immunity!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Everything on earth is comprised of five elements- Earth, Water, Space, Fire and Air.
