But this meant I always felt guilty, like I was never doing enough. I was struggling to get enough quality sleep, and distractions were destroying my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomyyoga.com\/blog\/category\/meditation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">meditation<\/a><\/strong> practice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It felt like a never-ending cycle of being good, then bad. And that sense of guilt was always present, like a dark cloud hanging over me, pushing me to constantly fix myself. I\u2019ve always struggled with accepting my life as it is and finding <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomyyoga.com\/blog\/happiness-hacks-10-proven-tips-how-be-happy-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">happiness<\/a><\/strong> in the present moment. I was getting really tired of the pressure to be my best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Did you also find yourself striving to be the best, only to feel unfulfilled when you don&#8217;t measure up to unrealistic expectations?&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a common trap many of us fall into. But the truth is, trying to be &#8220;better&#8221; doesn&#8217;t necessarily lead to happiness. In fact, it can create a sense of shame and frustration. In this whole process, we seek validation from others, which becomes unhealthy for our well-being. It is a real dark side of self-improvement that we need to understand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s okay to remember that we&#8217;re enough just as we are. So take a deep breath, relax, and embrace your authentic self &#8211; you&#8217;re pretty amazing, just the way you are.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take some time to spend alone and think about problems from various angles. This simple practice can lead to innovative solutions and a fresh perspective. Don&#8217;t be afraid to step away from the noise and find clarity in solitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Obsession is A Bad Sign<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Focusing solely on self-improvement may not automatically make you a better person. If you find yourself stressed about missing a meditation session, it defeats the purpose altogether.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s important to give yourself time to recharge, and being constantly on the go won&#8217;t facilitate that. In a world where productivity is glorified, it&#8217;s refreshing to allow yourself the freedom not to be perfect. So take a deep breath and cut yourself some slack, even if just for a moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lack Of Self Acceptance&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In a world that often tells us to strive for more, we can sometimes lose sight of the importance of self-acceptance. While self-improvement is admirable, it&#8217;s important to remember that too much of a good thing can lead to burnout.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Constantly chasing perfection can become counterproductive and even detrimental. Instead, take the time to appreciate and embrace who you are in this moment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Practice self-love and remember that a balanced approach to self-improvement is key. In the end, it&#8217;s about finding happiness and fulfillment in the journey, not just the destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is nothing wrong with you.
