If a woman is to make informed choices about her health care, she must understand her reproductive system and the hormones that control it.

HPO axis is the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, a tightly regulated system controlling female reproduction.

The female reproductive system plays an important role throughout the life of a woman.  A woman's reproductive system includes her Uterus, Fallopian tubes, ovaries, cervix, and external genitalia, and the majority of women's health issue surrounds this system.

ABOUT DR. VINEETA KETKAR
Dr. Vineeta Ketkar is a practicing Family Physician in Pune. She is practicing since 1980. In addition, she offers Yogic Health Services and Yoga training programmes at her well-equipped Yoga Institute, at Pune, since 2006. Her practice is based on Modern Medicine. In the year 1980, she completed her MBBS from Mumbai University. Her inquisitiveness to drugless healing led to 10 Years of Yoga Education & Training at BKS Iyengar Institute & 14 years of Yoga Education & Training at Kabir Baug.
