The Mahalakshmi Ashtakam is a powerful stotram composed by the head of the Devas, Lord Indra, to praise Devi Mahalakshmi. Found in the Padma Purana, this ancient hymn comprises eight verses, each offering heartfelt devotion to Goddess Lakshmi, extolling her virtues, and invoking her grace in our lives. By chanting this hmyn, we align ourselves with the energy of abundance—whether it be health, happiness, or prosperity. It reminds us that true wealth is not just external, but resides in inner peace and contentment. In this special session, Chitra Ganesh will chant each verse of the Mahalakshmi Ashtakam three times, and we invite you to chant along with her.
